Coventry City recently completed the refurbishment of their Training facility at Ryton which included a new Performance training area for the players in an area that previously had been the players eating area. One of the challenges that Andy O’Boyle Coventry City’s Strength & Conditioning Coach and Perform Better had was that the ceiling height in the room was very low except in one corner of the room and Andy wanted to install some Power Racks into the area. Perform Better came up with a solution of designing two adjoining Power racks with a shared lifting platform that fitted into the small area with the higher roof. Perform Better also installed: Squat Rack, Hip Flexor/Dipping station, Dumbell set and rack, Olympic sets, Kettlebells, Bosus, Balance Cushions, Foam Rollers, Plyometric/Technique boxes, Powerbags, Ice baths, Scifit Treadmill, Concept 2 Rower, Stretch mats and Rubber flooring.
