West Park Leeds Rugby Club recently opened their new £5m Clubhouse and Ground renovations at their ground in Bramhope, North Leeds. The funding for the project came from the sale of the old Roundhay RUFC ground that was sold for housing after Headingley RUFC and Roundhay RUFC merged to form Leeds Rugby(now Leeds Carnegie Rugby).
The Official Opening was attended by a number of names from Rugby including: Stuart Lancaster, Director of the RFU Academy and World Cup Winner Neil Back, Head Coach of Leeds Carnegie who commented that, "The facilities must surely rank amongst the finest in the country."
Perform Better worked closely with the club to create a Conditioning facility to cater for the club’s players but also Academy Players from Leeds Carnegie who will also be using the facility. The equipment includes: Squat Power rack, Smiths machine, Multipress Bench, Adjustable Benches, Glute Ham, Lat Pulldown, Disc Loading Leg Extension and Leg Curl, Multi Pulley, Leg Press, Hip Flexor/Chinning station, Dumbell set and racks, Olympic sets and bars, Powerbags, medicine balls, rubber flooring, Scifit Treamills x 2, Scifit Cycle x 3, Scifit Upper Body Ergometer and Concept II Rowers x 4.
