Welsh Rugby invest in Catapult Minimaxx system

Welsh Rugby are the first of the Home Nations teams to invest in the Catapult Minimaxx Athlete Tracking Technology.  The system allows the Coaching Team to track the distances covered, number of high intensity runs, intensity of tackles, player load for a session and a wide number of other parameters.  Twelve inertial sensors including: 5hz GPS, Accelerometers, Gyroscopes and Magnetometers collect the data which can be transmitted wirelessly to give 'live' feedback or downloaded after the session.
