Perform Better have been appointed as the new Distributor for the Sports Performance market in the UK for Woodway Performance Treadmills. Perform Better will work closely with Cranlea and Co who have been the Woodway UK Distributors for the past fifteen years and who will continue to distribute Woodway in the University Sports Science and Medical markets.
In the US- where Woodway are based- they have a very strong presence in the Sports Performance market with over 95% of the National Basketball Association(NBA), National Football League(NFL), Major League Baseball(MLB) and National Hockey League(NHL) Clubs using Woodway Performance treadmills in their Conditioning facilities. The patented Slatflex system which incorporates 3/8” vulcanized rubber surface and aluminium T slat absorbs the force of the foot strike at the point of impact making them much safer on players’ bones, joints, muscles and tendons.
In the UK Woodway are well known in the University Sports Science market but not in the Sports Performance market with only a handful of Premiership Football Clubs using Woodway machines including: Manchester United FC, Manchester City FC, Middlesborough FC and Spurs FC. Perform Better will be aiming to significantly raise the profile of Woodway in the Performance market.
