Blackburn Rovers FC and West Bromwich Albion FC are the latest Premiership Clubs to invest in the Catapult Athlete Tracking technology. Blackburn have purchased 24 units of the new S4 10hz units and West Brom 12 of the S4 10hz units. Both clubs are planning to use the systems on a daily basis to give them daily reports on training loads and comparing the data to the Prozone data they get from Premiership matches. Everton FC and West Ham Utd FC have already been using the Catapult system last season. In addition Newcastle United are using the Catapult system through Teesside University to monitor their pre-season training.
