UK Athletics have ordered 60 metres of the linear Optojump system to analyse athletes at the UKA High Performance Centres at: Alexander Stadium, Brunel University, Picketts Lock and Loughborough. The system will measure and give immediate feedback on: stride length, postion, contact time and flight time of an athlete while running on a sprint track or jump runway- this is currently measured using high speed cameras which need laborious and complex post- trial analysis. The system can be used in a single 60m length or spilt into four 15m lengths.
