Swansea City FC have recently invested in the new Catapult Optimeye Player Tracking Technology for both their senior team plus Academy teams.

Swansea City had previously used another supplier for their player tracking data but saw the advantages of the Catapult Optimeye range and the new Openfield Analytics software to improve the reporting options with the data. The First team have 30 S5 units to cover their whole squad and the Academy have 50 X4 units to cover their age group teams. The Club are also planning to use the new G5 Goalkeeper unit to monitor training load with their goalkeepers.
